PVC & Mesh Banner Printing

Which banner material?

Prices per square metre + VAT, with the price including VAT in brackets. The first figure is the rate for a 1 m² banner; the rate per m² drops as the banner gets bigger.

You enter the size in millimetres on the product page, and the price updates as you type. Examples: a 1000 x 2000mm banner in 510gsm PVC, without hems or eyelets, is £32.98 + VAT (£39.58 inc VAT); a 2000 x 6000mm one is £167.88 + VAT (£201.46 inc VAT). Small banners start at £12.00 + VAT (£14.40 inc VAT).

Hems and eyelets

Each banner can be hemmed and fitted with metal eyelets; both options are on the product page. Eyelets go in every 60cm, evenly spaced along the edges, so you can tie or hook the banner up without extra fixings.

Sizes

We print up to 3m wide, and up to 50m long in one piece. Any size in between is made to your measurements, so you do not have to pick from a fixed list.

How long will a PVC banner last outside?

PVC is a short-term outdoor material, and where it hangs matters more than anything else:

• On a wall in the shade: it can last a few years.
• In full sun: a shorter time.
• On a fence with nothing behind it: a few months, because the wind works on it constantly.

For fences and open sites, mesh is the better choice.

Scaffold banners

Scaffold banners come with pole pockets made for standard 51mm scaffold tubes:

• Pockets: left and right, or top and bottom.
• Material: 510gsm PVC or 380gsm mesh.
• Sides: printed single or double sided.
• Price: priced per square metre, from £19.99 + VAT (£23.99 inc VAT) for a 1 m² banner, falling to £17.99 + VAT per m² on large banners.

Are PVC banners waterproof?

Yes, PVC does not take in water, so rain will not damage the banner or the print. Sun and wind are what shorten a banner's life outside (see below).

How long do PVC banners last outside?

On a wall in the shade, a few years. In full sun, less. On a fence with nothing behind it, a few months. PVC is a short-term outdoor material; for windy spots choose mesh.

What is the difference between PVC and mesh banners?

PVC is solid. Mesh is perforated, so wind passes through it, which makes it the better choice for fences, scaffolding and open sites where a solid banner would act like a sail.

What is the largest banner you can print?

Up to 3m wide and up to 50m long in one piece.

How far apart are the eyelets?

Every 60cm, evenly spaced along the edges.

Are scaffold banners priced per square metre or per banner?

Per square metre. A scaffold banner is £19.99 + VAT (£23.99 inc VAT) up to 1 m², and the rate per m² falls as the banner gets bigger, to £17.99 + VAT on large banners. For example, 2000 x 3000mm is £110.94 + VAT (£133.13 inc VAT).
